We're back with another ARTHOP with our friends from Fresno Arts Council! For March's Art Hop, we're proud to welcome DCAC (Dynamic Culture Arts Collective) and Uppitees Fashions and Tie Dye to the Second Floor!
Dynamic Culture Arts Crew are a small art crew from Madera with different styles of arts. They started doing murals in 2018 and started the crew while they were in the process of a mural for our down-the-street neighbors Arte Américas. They are all self-taught and still learning. They have worked with Fresno muralist Mauro Carrera and have done murals in Fresno, Visalia, Merced and as far as Oakland.
Uppitees Fashions and Tie Dye is a company run by Teresa Mitchell, an artist who works with fabrics and dyes, creating designs and images by manipulating the cloth and using resists as well as paints and other creative techniques. She also designs and makes clothing with her uniquely dyed materials. This is not your grandma's hippie tiedye. It's hip, it's dope and it's now!
All of these artists will be in the house on Thursday, March 7th We kick off at 5PM with tunes by A M I I I!
