No movie theaters means we have to improvise. This year the idea of creating your own entertainment only amplifies the true spirit of sweding! A "sweded" film, of course, has nothing to do with Sweden and everything to do with weird, homemade remakes of your favorite films as seen in Michel Gondry's 2008 film "Be Kind Rewind".

So pick your favorite movie, recreate it with whatever you have laying around the house, send it to us and we'll have a good old fashioned virtual screening on Facebook, YouTube, CMAC, and maybe even some other places on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Your sweded film must be submitted by Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Films should be no longer than four minutes and suitable for all ages. There's no cost to submit or attend the virtual screening.
