This workshop, in collaboration with local educator and producer Byron Russell, will delve into the fundamentals of storytelling and story development for media creators. Participants will explore various tools and techniques employed in crafting narratives for film, television, animation, and games, including character dynamics, conflict, archetypes, psychological concepts like the Hero's Journey, and story structures. The workshop will also cover idea generation, pre-production materials, and external factors like budget considerations, accompanied by in-depth videos and accessible resources discussed.
