Cousins Arturo Villa and Cristian Valenzuela began playing at 10 years old in Culiacan, Sinaloa. Together with Villa’s cousins Jesus Alan Obeso and Andy Bernal they formed the band Edicion Especial in 2013.
The group has played all throughout Mexico, gaining fame in states like Jalisco, Sinaloa, Baja California, Sonora and more. In 2016, Edicion Especial recorded their first album titled Rompecabezas. The singles “El 3” y “El Doble RR” jumpstarted the band’s career and went viral on social media. The band has gone on to release 4 more albums, including the latest release
Las Guardadas.
