Please join us for the opening reception on February 7th for Art Hop!

The community is invited to this free event to enjoy the works of Malaquías Montoya, one of the founders of the social serigraphy movement in the San Francisco Bay Area in the mid-1960s.

The paintings, silkscreens, charcoals and oil pastels address three prominent themes: injustice, empowerment and international struggle. A companion catalogue will be available for purchase for $20. The exhibition is sponsored by the Center for Creativity and the Arts and the Department of Art and Design.
