Satellites (Melodic Punk)

Live from the Saroyan Gallery is excited to leap into band territory this week with a performance from Satellites! Fresno melodic punk outfit Satellites draw musical inspiration from a variety of influences including power pop, hardcore and indie rock, but all of their songs are united by a through line of rawness and earnestness. What began as a solo project from guitarist/vocalist Anthony Dugan developed into Satellites with help from a rhythm section with some serious Fresno punk pedigree: drummer Mike Flores (also of local supergroup Sunnydales and Santa Mira) and bassist Enrique Ramirez (of Orosi animal punks Werebear). Their most recent EP Moral Panic is available on Sleepy Ghost records (sleepyghostrecords.bandcamp.com).
