Sandal season is here, and what better way to celebrate by showing off those toes in your own custom pair!
Join us for this new & unique workshop where you will learn the art and process of making a pair of custom leather sandals. Starting with personalized measurements, you will learn to use leather tools, create a pattern, and carefully cut and handle your natural vegetable-tanned leather. This is an intensive workshop which could last from 6-8 hours. Free feel to bring snacks, and take breaks. All materials will be included.

ABOUT THE HOST:
Wilkie, a Hong Kong native relocated to California when he was 19. He received degrees in Fine Art and Graphic Design, and currently works as a leather craft maker, graphic & web designer, photographer and dance instructor. In 2013, he pursued his love of shoesmaking and in 2015 he founded his handmade bespoke brand - Wilkiesucher.
PLEASE NOTE:
Class must meet minimum capacity of 3 participants. If less than 3 spaces are sold, Root and Wilkie Kwok reserves the right to cancel the class and issue a refund to those who have already signed up.

Make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early to grab a refreshment, mingle, and settle in as we will start promptly.
Metered street parking is available on Fulton street in front of the shop. Meters are FREE after 6pm & on weekends!
