Call of Duty BLACKOUT returns to Club One Casino, brought to you by Full Combo Esports!
This event will be SOLOS, perfect for “lone wolf”-style players, sensible survivalists, or anybody who thinks they’re the best of all their friends! With a $500 MINIMUM prize pool, the opportunity to turn your Call of Duty skills into cash has never been better!
In this action-packed SOLO event, you’ll be dropping into matches of Blackout with another competitor, each trying to score the most kills. Don’t count on backup from your opponent; you’ll have your wits, your gear, and your survival skills to rely on, and that’s it!
Pre-registration form can be found at the "Buy Tickets" link here on the event page! Pre-register before 8am on July 6th and save $5 per player!
- PARENTAL ADVISORY (PLAYERS UNDER AGE 17) –
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" is a Mature-rated video game.
This event will be all-ages; if a player under the age of 17 years old wishes to compete, a parent or legal guardian must be present at time of registration or pre-reg check-in on the day of the event to sign a permission form, granting their permission for their minor to participate in this event.
For safety and security reasons, permission forms will only be available at the door on the date of the event. Parents will not be required to stay for the duration of the event after completing this form.
- RULES AND FORMAT -
Players will play in Duos mode along with another competitor, and compete to see who can get more kills in rounds of regular Blackout. Kills are always worth 1 point.
Players must win 2 out of 3 three rounds to win the match and advance to the next round of event.
Tournament is Single Elimination; when a player loses a match, they are out of the competition. Players will be randomly seeded into brackets at the beginning of the competition, and when matches are announced players will have 10 minutes to report for their match.
When a player has died, the player who is alive must tie or already have more kills than the dead player to win the round. If the alive player does not tie or get more kills than the dead player before dying themself, the dead player wins the round.
In the event that a team of competitors finish a round in 1st place with the same number of kills, the player who got the final kill wins the game for that round.
- FAIR PLAY –
Fair play is expected at all of our events. Players who deliberately attempt to sabotage or win a round through "unfair" or unsportsmanlike methods may be automatically disqualified.
Examples of sabotage include but are not limited to:
- Deliberately damaging the opposing player, or any of their deployed equipment, vehicles in use, etc.
- Obstructing the opposing duo through the use of equipment or vehicles (blocking doors with barricades/vehicles)
- Deliberately using equipment to interfere with their ability to get kills (concussions, smoke grenades, etc). Accidental concusses in the middle of a fight will be looked at on a case to case basis. Blackout is a hectic game, and when both players are fighting in the same area it is hard to not be impacted by a smoke or concuss, even if thrown non-maliciously.
Any suspected sabotage will be taken seriously, but also handled on a CASE TO CASE basis.

- SETUPS -
All games will be played on Xbox One, on setups we provide, consisting of:
• Xbox One S console
• Standard Xbox One controller
• 23" Asus 2ms-delay HD monitor
• Stereo Headsets
• Converter for home-brought PS3/PS4 controller use on request
Additionally, players may bring other accessories from home, such as any model of thumbstick controller, headsets, KontrolFreeks, audio mixamps, etc, for use in their matches.
- INFO ABOUT PLAYSTATION CONVERTERS -
We will provide Brooks brand PS3/PS4-to-X1 controller converters to anyone who prefers to use their home-brought PS3/PS4 controller for this competition.
Headsets do not function when plugged directly into a 'converted' Playstation controller; Playstation users can use game chat and party chat by plugging headsets into our provided Xbox controller acting as the 2nd controller on that console.
Additionally, players are welcome to bring home-brought audio mixers/amps to see if your brand will work with our consoles for voice chat.
Converters are the only current method of utilizing PS4 controllers with X1 consoles.
