For May’s ArtHop, we're partnering with an artist who is changing the game on watercolor. Joseph Vincent Jernigan combines two of his passions – body sculpting and art – to bring color to life. He uses sweat and vibrant pigments to create brilliant pieces. By merging these two disciplined talents, Jernigan is opening eyes to the stigmas and stereotypes in both art culture and fitness culture. Stop by Bitwise South Stadium on Thursday, May 2 to see his series, Sweat Painting, on the second floor.
We’ll also have Figures Of Creation, a student-run business out of the Philip J. Patino School of Entrepreneurship on the first floor. Figures Of Creation is focused on creating a community of local artists, helping to promote and support their creativity.
