With North to South: Western Us, Corrine M. Bell tells the story of the unparalleled natural panorama of Washington, Oregon, and California. With her latest installation, Bell melds her love of embroidery, linocuts, and photography as an invitation for viewers to feast on the incredible landscapes of the western states, from north to south.

A native of the Central Valley, Bell grew up only wanting to draw and photograph what inspired her. Her creative process is rooted in the world she sees and experiences. Every piece begins with a journey and a camera. She’s a wanderer, and in this happenstance way, she discovers places, scenes, and details that intrigue her to the point that she is compelled to capture them. She aims to translate feelings into visuals, to push something out of them that captures and expresses emotion.

The evening kicks of at 5pm with a special pop-up by the one and only Hope Patrick-Garcia, who will be gracing us with her soulful vocals. USBean Brew Station will be servin’ up the caffeine love and we’ll have food and a full bar available for purchase.
