The Central Valley Community Foundation and Fresno DRIVE are hosting a community-wide read featuring: The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee. The New York Times bestseller is a groundbreaking call to action that examines how racism affects and harms all of us and how we need to face it head-on, together.
The Foundation will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to create a just and thriving Central Valley, and we are eager to share this book with local residents so we can continue our collective learning journey towards inclusive prosperity.
