On April 9, 2019, the Crime Victim Assistance Center will unveil the 2019 Crime Victims’ Memorial Quilt. The quilt, which was started in 1994, consists of quilt squares that represent a victim whose life was lost to an act of violence. The squares have been made by the families of deceased victims and are a visual expression of memories of loved ones. The 2019 quilt panel displays 10 new squares, with the overall quilt now representing 509 victims’ of violent crime.
