The Fresno Dixieland Society's "The Sounds of Mardi Gras" Festival celebrates its 25th season this February with dozens of performances from some of the top traditional jazz bands from across the western United States. The event takes place from February 5th thru 8th at the Raddison Hotel in Downtown Fresno. Invited bands and guest artists include Black Swan, Blue Street, Bob Schulz' Frisco Jazz Band, Climax, Fulton Street Jazz Band, Grand Dominion, High Sierra, New Black Eagles, Night Blooming Jazzmen, Vince Bartel's Kings of Swing with Allan Vache & John Sheridan, George Probert and Dick Williams' JazzSea Jammers.
