Come by Milano restaurant on Fresno's Historic Fulton Mall on Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 PM for a one-of-a-kind event: Milano's First Ever Megazone Eating Contest. Milano will be hosting rival bloggers Famous Whitewater, The Fresnan, and EStewart, and perennial commentator Lola La Chola to see who can be the first to finish the famed Milano Megazone - a 3+ lb behemoth. The record time to date is 18 minutes.  They don't have to beat that time to win.  They just have to beat each other (and knowing them, that's just what they'll do!). They've each already thrown down the gauntlet, so to speak, online, now we'll all find out who's for real, and who's full of tweet. Good luck to all the contestants - for the general viewing public, get there early, the mayhem starts right at 5:00 PM. For those of you who don't know, Milano is located at 1243 Fulton Mall, at the north end of the Fulton Mall, just down from Longs Drugs, between Fresno Street and Merced. Park free in the Longs Drugs parking lot.
