Meets every 4th Tuesday of each month, 5:30 p.m. at the Downtown Club - 2120 Kern Street
There are four committees of the Downtown Association of Fresno: Urban Beautification; Business Growth and Development; Special Events; and Image and Communications. These committees meet monthly and new volunteers and expertise are always welcome. If you are interested and committed to the continued revitalization of Downtown Fresno, the Downtown Association of Fresno would like to encourage you to come to these meetings and participate in the efforts to make Downtown Fresno a fun and exciting place for all.
From flower plantings, to art restoration, to storefront improvements, the Design Committee seeks to improve the physical appearance of Downtown. Responsible for efforts to maintain and improve the visible physical elements of the Fulton Mall and Downtown Fresno. Activities may include, but are not limited to, tree and flower planting and maintenance; banners and business signage; work on design guidelines; street furniture and infrastructure; lighting; Mall and artwork maintenance; and the Downtown Art Gala or other events to raise funds for artwork restoration.
Committee meets the 1st Wednesday of each month, at 1:00 PM, at Gordo's Shop in the Fresno Discount Mall
The range of projects taken on by the Economic Development Committee include the new Downtown Dining Directory, and pushing for new Downtown housing by hosting a community forum and establishing a Downtown Residents Association. But the biggest Downtown project ever is currently being planned.
Committee meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 1:00 PM, at Kebab Express
Responsible for hosting exciting events that bring new people to Downtown Fresno and raise money to support other DTA activities. Events include, but may not be limited to, Sudz in the City, Cinco de Mayo, Mexican Independence Day, El Grito, Halloween Happens, Winter Wonderland, and St. Patrick's Day events. These festivals bring more people to Downtown in a weekend than any other attraction.
Committee meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at 12:30 PM, at Mezcal
Responsible for sustained efforts to improve the public image of the Fulton Mall and Downtown Fresno. Activities may include, but are not limited to, a comprehensive and ongoing Downtown branding campaign; small-scale event series such as lunchtime concerts, farmers markets, ice skating nights, and stadium home game-coordinated events; and Board-level oversight of DTA newsletters, website, and press outreach.
Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at 6:00 PM, at Hero's Sports Lounge & Pizza Co - 820 Van Ness.

To this end we serve the City of Fresno, the business community, Fulton Mall and other downtown merchants, public/private agencies, and the community at large.
