Enjoy farm fresh produce from Valley growers every Wednesday and Friday afternoon with the new "Market on the Mall" Fulton Mall farmers market. This twice weekly certified farmers market, located on the Fulton Mall at Mariposa, runs through the fall and features some of the finest produce the Valley has to offer.

Property Based Improvement Districts (PBIDs) have been some of the most successful tools for downtown revitalization in the nation. The Downtown Association, The Downtown Fresno Partnership and the City of Fresno's Downtown and Community Revitalization Department are working to create a PBID in Fresno.

Downtown Art Gala
The annual 11th Downtown Art Gala celebrates the internationally recognized collection of public art in Downtown Fresno on Friday October 16th, outdoors on the Fulton Mall. Proceeds from the event go to the on-going maintenance and restoration of public art on the Fulton Mall.

Market on the Mall - Fulton Mall Farmers Market
NOTE: Market on the Mall will be closed July 3 only.

Bob the Builder comes to the Fresno Met
The Fresno Metropolitan Museum presents an exhibition just for youngsters, Bob the Builder-Project: Build It! is based on the popular children’s television program, Bob the Builder. The exhibition runs from June 20th thru September 27th at the Fresno Metropolitan Museum.
Movies In the Park return to Eaton Plaza
The City of Fresno and Comcast present the 2009 edition of Comcast Movies in the Park, at Eaton Plaza in Downtown Fresno. This free event runs every Friday night from June thru September at Eaton Plaza, near the historic Fresno Water Tower at Fresno and "N" Street. The movies start at dusk, and the movie AND parking are free!
Arte Americas Friday "Nights In the Plaza" Concert Series
Arte Americas, presents another season of its acclaimed "Nights In the Plaza" Friday night outdoor concert series this June, August and September in Downtown Fresno. The concerts feature music ranging from traditional cumbia and mariachi to contemporary Latin sounds, with top talent from the Valley and beyond.
The 64th annual Obon Festival takes place at the Fresno Buddhist Temple on Saturday July 11th.
