During the month of May CMAC will be featuring the work of two artists, Marianne Trotter and Pat Hunter.
Marianne’s art is the result of a lifetime of enjoyment and experimenting with elements of art in different settings and in different forms. In school, art projects always excited her and later during her time in college, she considered pursuing a career in art. However, she later chose a different career path: teaching, although, she integrates art to spice up her curriculum. Making connections between the disciplines and art was an important goal. Her body of work includes representational and abstract art, including acrylics and mixed media. Her inspiration comes from her experiences from everyday life, her travels in Europe, and living abroad in both Ukraine and Germany.
