700 Van Ness Ave. Fresno
Guitarist Omar Naré and violinist Patrick Contreras are back for another show-stopping performance, live at Bitwise. Handcrafted by two unique and impeccable artists, the event will redefine how you think of Chicano violin and guitar music.
A Fresno native, Contreras learned to play violin in school and has used his music to create a completely unique mix of hip hop, mariachi, rock, jazz, electronic, and classical. Contreras is no stranger to wowing audiences with his original music and stellar interpretations of rock royalty.
Naré mixes his upbringing in Sanger with a pop sensibility for an unparalleled take on the mariachi genre. He began singing professionally at 12. Just three years later, his debut album sold more than 5,000 copies. Since, he’s worked with Grammy Award-winning producers, developed Kompaz, a 25-person flamenco pop production, and created Dos Mundos, a show 15 years in the making, exploring his redefinition of the mariachi style.
Naré & Contreras will perform at Bitwise South Stadium on Saturday, November 17. Join us at 7pm for pre-show cocktails and food. Seating will begin at 7:45pm with the performance taking place at 8pm
