Artist Abiam Alvarez makes a statement regarding the plight of the farm laborers and the produce they harvest. “We pick our groceries…believing that all our pickings will be consumed right away. By the time we go back to use it, most of it has wilted, molded, bruised, darkened, softened, dried, and rotted. It becomes discarded, just like the value of the laborer.” Join us for this provoking exhibit’s Opening Reception.
