Join us for ArtHop on Thursday, August 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. as we feature the work of Karen Molta Rumie. Karen is a diverse and blissful soul and thanks to her family’s hard work and persistence, they have had the opportunity to experience the American Dream, although, once-upon-a-time they were refugees. Her artistic journey began during childhood when her and her cousin would entertain themselves by drawing cartoons, people, and everything else they saw to create their own colorful world. She continued to develop her skills as a professional with her individuality prospering when she connects her heart and soul. She is a passionate artist whose goal is to convey the empowerment art brings to the individual who creates it, the individual who experiences it, and the history art will pass down to future generations.
