Creating art has been a constant in my life. I’ve been creating abstract art since before I knew what to call it. These works are composed from life’s saying, phrases and quotes. Many remind me of my mother, who’s answer to the common, “I didn’t mean to do it” would reply; “The road to hell is paved with the souls of those with good intentions”.
This series is also an exploration of a right handed artist, painting with is left hand. Why? To become reacquainted with that person who has no formal training, to see what the results would be. Inspiration comes from many sources. The quest for me has always become how to allow whatever voice that surfaces, the freedom to manifest itself through paint stokes.

:: ABOUT FRES/CO ::
Fres.Co is a grassroots space for conscious cultural workers, movement builders, entrepreneurs, and artists to share their gifts with the community and vis versa. Whether it’s co-locating for our “9-5” jobs or offering workshops on art making, policy/research, or spoken word we hope to create a physical location where minds can meld and dreams can manifest into reality.
