It's because Downtown is where you find the best of the Valley in one central place.  It's because of all the excitement and convenience that comes with urban living in a large California city.  No other area of Fresno has such thorough bus service, is surrounded by as many parks, and offers such exceptional medical care -- to name just a few of the area's unique amenities.

Mixed commercial-residential developments are now allowed throughout the Downtown area.  Innovative projects continue to become easier to complete as City leaders gain familiarity with the unique demands of the mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects common in urban areas.  It is truly easier than ever now to build in Downtown Fresno.  No doubt additional new development will be the result in the next few years.
