The Downtown Association of Fresno, in partnership with the Downtown and Community Revitalization Department of the City of Fresno, hosted the inaugural State of Downtown Breakfast on Tuesday, January 26 for a sold-out crowd of 470 people. .
MC'd by Joe Moore, the program included Councilmember Cynthia Sterling (District 3 which includes Downtown Fresno) and Councilmember Lee Brand, in his role as chair of the Fresno Redevelopment Agency, giving an RDA update. Mayor Ashley Swearengin gave the keynote speech during a breakfast that will present many aspects of beginning and ongoing Downtown revitalization efforts.

The event was held at The Grand, the ballroom on the ground floor of the renovated Trade Center Building, and was catered by Chef Pearson. The doors opened at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast being served. The program began at 7:30 a.m.
