Board members, volunteers to serve on committees, contributions, and community support
The community’s help is needed to advance the mission of the Downtown Association of Fresno, which is to enhance the vitality of our Downtown by working to improve, promote, and develop the historic Central Business District. The goals of the Downtown Association of Fresno are to create jobs, lower the commercial vacancy rate, develop new housing opportunities downtown, provide more convenient parking, and to create recreational opportunities for all.
The Downtown Association of Fresno would like to demonstrate that positive change is taking place and is central to a successful and vibrant downtown. The Downtown Association of Fresno’s wish is to build consensus around a vision to create an inviting environment with activity for all age groups and cultures to participate and enjoy for years to come.

There are four committees of the Downtown Association of Fresno: Design; Economic Development; Promotions; and Organization. These committees meet monthly and new volunteers and expertise are always welcome. If you are interested and committed to the continued revitalization of Downtown Fresno, the Downtown Association of Fresno would like to encourage you to become a board member. The Downtown Association of Fresno is always open to partnering with new corporations for contributions.

Our Purpose
...is to promote the development & revitalization of Downtown Fresno
To this end we serve the City of Fresno, the Business community, Fulton Mall merchants, Public/Private agencies, and the community at large.
We are funded by the City of Fresno, the Redevelopment Agency, and the State of California Main Street Program.
